Update on my Clarisonic Mia!!!

Hi girls!! I just wanted to update you on my recent purchase of the Clarisonic Mia. 

So for a long time I didn't really want the Clarisonic.  I remember a long time ago Laura of Lollipop26 You Tube fame had mentioned she felt it was widely over hyped and thought a battery powered toothbrush would do the exact same thing. 

But lately some of my favorite YouTube guru's (in particular Michele1218 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4DpTxtDAwYI ) have been talking about it again so I decided I HAD to have it!  Well...I returned it. 

That's right...I am (almost) the only girl on the planet that didn't like it!  When I posted that I purchased it Cari at http://sisterssincere.blogspot.com/ mentioned she didn't have a good experience with it either!  

Honestly I just didn't think it was THAT great!  And recently (I wish I'd seen these BEFORE I purchased) I watched GinaBinaWina99's review on her YouTube Channel (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5KWOsF39pj8) but more importantly KathySpear's (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q5ZUR_hs3eI) review on YouTube.  These are comparison videos comparing the Clarisonic vs. The Olay Pro X but there is also some interesting information in both the videos. 

My biggest issue was that honestly it made no difference in the way my skin felt or looked and for the money you pay I wanted to see and feel results!  Now I know I only had it a few weeks so maybe I didn't give it enough of a chance but I almost immediately started breaking out.  And Kathy Spear's video talks about this and why it may happen.  My skin went from being clear to breaking out!

I am in my mid 30's and Kathy Spears video talks about how this kind of manuel exfoliation is not the best thing for more mature skin. If you want to hear an excellent explanation from a skin care expert (really, Kathy is a professional aesthetician) go watch her video!  It just didn't work for me but I know a lot of girls love it!

Essie at Walmart

Hello Girls!  Happy Friday!  Do you have any plans for the weekend?  I plan on doing alot of cleaning up and laundry...pretty lame huh?

Anyhoo.  I was in Walmart today to pick up some things during my lunch break and saw the display of Essie polishes at Walmart. 

I was very surprised by the number of polishes they had!  I didn't think they would have such a large selection of colors.  They all look beautiful!  I love the fact that Essie is now available at Walmart!  Makes it so much easier to get my hands on!  The price was $7.75 so slightly cheaper than Ulta.

Do you have your eye on any Essie polishes?

Clarisonic Mia

Hi girls!!!  I am so excited!  Today on my lunch break I went to Ulta and purchased my Clarisonic Mia!!! 

I received a 20% off coupon in the mail that started yesterday but when I went to Ulta to purchase my Mia the sales girl said they had just sold their last one like 10 minutes before! 
She told me to call today as they may get a shipment in. 

I called first thing this morning and asked if they got any in and they did! 
They got 1 in which they held for me! 

  Can't wait to use it.  I will do a full review after I have used it for a little while.
 Do you have one?  What are your thoughts on it?

DKNY Be Delicious

DKNY Holiday set

Hello girls!  Hope everyone is having a good weekend (although pretty much over now). 

Tomorrow- it's back to work with no other big holiday in sight (wiping tears away).  Time to get back into the routine of normalcy. 

Today- Mr. Labelsnob and I spent the day lounging until lunch time.  We grabbed a pizza at our fav pizza place and then I somehow talked him into going in Ulta to show him something I've been wanting-the DKNY Be Delicious Holiday set.  And because my hubby loves to spoil me, he bought it for me! :) 

The set contains 2 0.24 FL. OZ. bottles of the original Be Delicious Eau De Parfum and 2 bottles of the DKNY Be Delicious Fresh Blossom Eau De Parfum. 

 I really was only thinking of buying the Fresh Blossom on it's own because that is the one I really like but I keep going back to this set.  I get so bored with scents and am always wanting to buy something new so I figure these small ones are really perfect for me. 

I am keeping one in my purse, taking one to work and will keep the other 2 at home! 

Next on my list of perfumes to purchase is the very lux Chloe.  Of course I will not be able to get that in a small size but the scent is so amazing I can't see myself ever getting tired of it.

My Christmas wishlist

Hi Girls!  How is everyone?  I know I have been MIA and have not been posting.  I really need to devote more time to my blog and that is something I am going to work on next year! 

I hope you all are enjoying the holidays and have been having fun shopping and spending time with family and friends!

9.6.10 Look what I found!!

Hi girls!  Hope everyone is having a FABulous Labor Day! 

Luckily I had the day off and went shopping!! I really only needed to do some exchanging at H&M but of course I couldn't go there and leave right away! 

I walked around a bit at H&M, American Eagle and Express.  I'll do a post of those purchases later!

After leaving the mall, I went to Ulta where I was in search of the infamous Urban Decay Naked Palette which of course they didn't have but the girl at the counter told me she saw three at the local Sephora. 

I say local but it's actually over a half hour away from where I was and I was already 40 minutes from home.  All of a sudden, I was determined to get the Naked Palette today. 

So I drove on over and there they were!!!

I couldn't believe it.  Now I was not rushing out to get this palette although neutrals are all I wear.  I had heard originally that this was not going to be limited edition and then I heard they were. 

I went to my local Ulta last week and was told it was limited edition and Ulta was out and not getting any more.  Period.  I almost cried! 

But today was my lucky day and I now have it in my hands.  There is no sense in telling you how wonderful it is as there's been a million and one posts already about it! 

 I was just so happy to get mine I just had to blog about it!  Honestly I can't remember the last time I was so excited about a makeup purchase.
